My name is Tatiana, and I’m a traditional birthkeeper based in Glasgow. I moved from Central America to Europe when I was a teenager, living in different countries until finally making Scotland my home, a place that I’ve loved and cherished for its people, its histories and nature. In my free time, I can be found reading a novel, taking long walks with my dogs, painting or knitting. I’d describe myself as someone who is generally calm. Feeling present is vital to me in both my personal and professional life, which allows me to adapt to your needs with ease and discernment. Moreover, I love learning about other cultures and languages, and I’m comfortable offering this care in English, Spanish, German or French. What matters to me is that you feel comfortable and supported during this period of transition, which is why I want to offer support tailored to your own unique experience. Pregnancy and birth are transformative journeys with deeply vulnerable moments. The way that we birth can tell us a lot about the way we live, which is why my work focuses on reinvigorating the diluted knowledge of birth that is so common today. This transition does not have to be one of upheaval, but one of transcendence that makes way for a more profound love for life.

I believe that birth is a moment of transcendence in every individual's life, marking the beginning of a new chapter.
My affinity has always lain with witnessing the miracle of life — birth can be and is a joyful experience, one that we surrender into and learn from. This is why mothers are at the centre of my work; they are our caregivers, our teachers, and our elders, marking our experiences of love, nurture, and tenderness.
I received my initial training with Red Tent Doulas, absorbing the teaching of Nicola Mahdiyyah Goddall. I’m also a Birth and Postnatal Companion at Amma Birth Companions.
Currently focusing on clients in the Glasgow area but happy to meet clients who think we could resonate.
